In the Netherlands Antilles there is no obligation whatsoever to publish the ownership of shares as held in corporate entities neither is there any kind of public register. The same applies for the Private Foundation where neither the grantor nor the beneficiaries are in any way disclosed to a public register.
Under the laws and regulations the so called Know Your Customer Rules apply. This means that the service provider has to ensure the identity of the client and certain documents should be available with the Trust provider.
The Central Bank in its capacity as supervisor of the fiduciary service providers monitors closely the adherence of the rules. Even though these personal data of clients have to be available the only persons allowed to take knowledge are the trust officer in charge and the officers of the Central Bank while performing their audit
The sensitive information is kept in separate files which are stored in a dedicated vault and are under control of the management of Trufima only.
